Part of Historias de Película, a campaign for e-commerce giant Mercado Libre made up of a series of documentaries about businesses transformed by its platform. “Nuestro Palenque” is a documentary that tells the story of Viejo Indecente, one of Oaxaca's most prominent mezcal brands.
A walk through Mexico City's Centro Histórico with street photographer Salvador García and his vintage Leica. I shot and edited this one myself.
My background is in literature, and my career has been in technology journalism and marketing. As editor-in-chief of Atomix.vg, I was in charge of all its content, including video and podcasts, and I developed, produced and hosted two of Mexico's top gaming podcasts, El Beastcast and Atomix Podcast. I've written for major outlets such as Forbes and Red Bull, and in marketing and communications I've worked with a long list of global brands, including Apple, Nintendo, PlayStation, AMD, IBM, Uber and Mercado Libre, across Latin America and worldwide. I've also taught Public Relations at Universidad Panamericana, one of Mexico's top-ranked universities.
These days I'm mostly behind a camera, and when I'm not, I'm composing music for film.
